Recently I've concentrated on various functional pieces such as plates and vessels while in the past my work in was mostly sculpture from live models. I have also painted in oil, acrylic and pastels -- but feel a stronger sensory connection working with clay. My lifelong joy in the creative process melds so perfectly for me with the energy of the physical interaction in this medium combined with the freedom of self expression – even a piece that's gone wrong came turn out kind of wonderful!
